Intimacy and sexual connection

This workshop for couples requires having done a basic Imago workshop or sessions with an Imago therapist because we work with Imago tools.

In this workshop you will focus on ways to bring back a positive vision and energy to your relationship by working out from the best in you and in your couple. Nourishing appreciation and admiration for each other is fundamental to maintain a thriving relationship. Learning to express it and support each other's talents is a way to energise your relationship.

The challenge of a committed couple relationship.

After the bliss and passion of the beginnings of the relationship when we are flooded by a delicious hormonal cocktail, the fading away of the infatuation state is natural.

Falling in love might be easy, but staying in love and being passionate is a conscious choice and a real challenge in a long lasting relationship.

A relationship is like a garden: it needs year round maintenance and specific care for each season and this is true for both affective and sexual connection.

Let's talk about sex!

Learn how to share with your partner about your sexual relationship in a safe way and find paths together to maintain it vibrant and passionate.

Ignorance about sex is one of the biggest enemies for a couple. Too often we hide behind our fears and on the top of that, routine can erode our sexual connection.

From a perspective of sexual health you will understand how sex is a corporal art made of apprenticeships you can make at any age to improve not only your own experience but also your relationship.

We will talk about:

  • What are the sources for sexual desire how to take care and nourishing it
  • how your body posture and mimics impact your own perception and your partner's
  • how to share around sexual fantasies in a safe and curious way
  • how to be truly present in your physical touch and sexual connection
  • the art of seduction.

Invest time and energy back into a part of your relationship that can bring you more aliveness and curiosity for each other and create a more intimate connection!

By Harville Hendrix, founder of Imago Relationship Therapy

When a relationship is going well, it feels magical.  After forty years as a marital therapist, though, I know that good marriages depend on more than magic.  They are built on habits that capture the feelings you have for each other and make them durable.  I’ve seen couples use these skills to transform a poor marriage into one that is wonderful.  My wife and I have experienced this ourselves.
